As captain of his swim team, he was expected to win the big relay to carry his swim team to the state championship for the first time in decades. Linc didn’t. Society expected him to walk past her. She expected him to see through her.
She expected him to make her into a joke.
She expected him to be cruel.
Expectations are a funny thing …

Alexandria Sure is from Michigan and adores her supportive family, her two rescue pups, and her mighty Spartans. Her coffee obsession leads her to writing in local coffee shops where characters come alive between salted caramel lattes and large cups of "cold brew extra cream two Splenda," which are usually on the counter when she walks in because the baristas know her car. (Thanks, Biggby!)
When she is not writing, she spends a great deal of her time perfecting her craft. She is an active member of Capital City Writers Association and attends several writing conferences each year.
Sure's first novel, Before Him Comes Me, is an unconventional romance of self-discovery, described by readers as "the first BDSM book with no sex."

Release Blitz~  His Semi-Charmed Life by Lisa Hughey

His Semi-Charmed Life
Lisa Hughey
Publication date: June 23rd 2017
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Going from princess to pauper wasn’t exactly the fairy tale ending Penelope Hastings believed in as a kid. She grabs at the opportunity to work at Camp Firefly Falls—home of her most treasured childhood memories and the haven where her spoiled heart expanded, and her perspective changed, after an encounter with an older boy. Now she’s hoping that the camp can work its magic one more time and help her craft a new life.
Rags to riches entrepreneur, Diego Ramos, never wanted to see Camp Firefly Falls again—the site of the most hated year in his teenage life as camp counselor, and his most regrettable moment ever. That one clash with an entitled little girl had a profound impact on him, changing the trajectory of his future. So, when his assistant books a corporate retreat at Camp Firefly Falls, he’s more than a little unsettled at the irony.
Now, twenty years later, Penelope and Diego are reunited. A second chance at happiness won’t come easy when their reversal in fortunes and unexpected sexual attraction complicates everything. Will they be able to work through their regrets and memories, and learn that love is the greatest fortune of all?
EXCERPT:
Diego lifted Penny’s hand to his mouth and licked the chocolate. “Don’t want any to go to waste.” His rough fingers circled her wrist, holding her in place. His tongue lapped at her skin and tingles spread from her fingertips throughout her body.
“What—” her throat suddenly tight. What was he doing? “—was that for?”
He pulled away and grinned. “Don’t want you to get dirty.”
A smear of chocolate clung to his upper lip. Without thinking she leaned in and sucked the sweet from his mouth.
The moment was fraught with an odd tension. The crackle of the fire, the scent of wood smoke filled her senses, and yet she could still smell the essence of him.
Amusement sparkled in his chocolate eyes, even more rich and sinful than the candy he’d just licked from her flesh.
“Nothing wrong with a little dirty,” Penny said.

Author Bio:
USA Today Bestselling Author Lisa Hughey has been writing romance since the fourth grade, which was also about the time she began her love affair with spies. Harriet and Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys later gave way to James Bond and Lara Croft and Jason Bourne.
Exploring the complex nature of a profession that requires subterfuge and lies fascinates her. She loves combining her two passions into fiction. As evidenced by her Black Cipher Files series.
Archangel Rafe was her first foray into the paranormal but after spending time in the Angelic Realm, it won't be her last. At their heart, the Seven novels are about the dynamics of family relationships. But the really hot Archangels don't hurt.
And recently she's been immersed in the Stone Family novellas, four stories about a blended family of brothers and sister who have a lot more in common than they realize. But of course she couldn't just write about family and romance. There are complex plots, bad guys, and suspense too.
Lisa loves to hear from readers and has various places you can connect with her, although, shh, Twitter is her favorite.

Blog Tour ~ New Moon by Lisa Kessler

Title: New Moon
Series: The Moon Series
Author: Lisa Kessler
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: June 19, 2017

Sometimes Fate plays dirty...   Jaguar shifter Sebastian Severino is an enigma. He lives alone, works alone, and will die alone. But the night he’s attacked by a female werewolf, nothing will ever be the same. And when his young niece is kidnapped, Sebastian, the deadliest assassin Nero has ever produced, will be forced to choose a side...   Isabelle Wood has never taken the easy path. As a bounty hunter and now a bitten werewolf without a mate, she’s searching for answers to her father’s disappearance while helping to lead an Alphaless Pack. The night she gets the opportunity to take out their enemy, with her blade at his throat, her wolf discovers her mate in the last person she can be with.

I didn’t take the elevator down. The stairs were more private. That asshole had pointed a goddamn gun at me. He’d cocked it. And still my wolf was howling, crying out for her mate. I wanted to scream. The farther I got from him, the worse my heart ached.

Maybe the wolf would mellow out in time. I’d run back to my place, pack, and hit the road for Reno without ever looking back.

That was probably Sebastian’s plan from the beginning. He was a master manipulator. I had to give him that.

I hustled past the valet to the self-parking lot in the shadows. Inside my car, I blew out a pent-up breath and put the key in the ignition. Before I could start the engine, a hand tapped on my window.

There was Sebastian, shirtless, his dark eyes locked on mine. “Wait.”

He didn’t yell. He didn’t need to for my keen ears to hear him. Without moving a muscle, I asked, “Why? Give me one good reason.”

He put his hands up and slowly knelt to my level. “I don’t have one.”

I glared at him through the glass. “You’ll have to do better than that.”

He clenched his teeth but didn’t break eye contact. “I want…damn it.” He looked toward the back of the car.

I pressed the button, lowering my window, his scent intoxicating me. “You pulled your gun on me.”

His gaze snapped to my face. “And you didn’t defend yourself.”

“If you wanted me dead, you wouldn’t make a bloody mess in a hotel room, and besides, you didn’t have a silencer on it.” I shook my head slowly. “You’re too good to be sloppy.”

“How do you…”

I rolled my eyes. “How do I what?”

“Understand me.” He searched my face—for what, I had no clue. His voice was barely a whisper. “I was trying to protect you.”

“By aiming a gun at me?” I clucked my tongue. “That’s not usually how it works.”

He struggled to bite back a smile, and butterflies fluttered in my stomach. When he wasn’t a deadly asshole, he was way too handsome. He lifted his head, and his dark hair fell into his face. The smile was gone. Hunger burned in his eyes.

“My father ordered a hit on the last woman I cared about, simply to remind me he had the power.”

My heart thumped in my chest. “What does that have to do with pointing a loaded gun at me?”

“I was too weak to tell you to leave, so I let the gun do it for me. You’re in danger if you keep digging into Nero. I was trying to keep you safe.”

A laugh escaped my lips before I could stop it. “You’re obviously much better at killing than protecting.”

He nodded slowly. “True.”

“None of this explains why you’re out here shirtless asking me not to drive away.”

“Because…” He shook his head, staring at the pavement. “It doesn’t make sense.” He straightened up and took a step back from my car.

Damn, even in the dim lighting his muscled torso distracted me, the shadows accentuating every curve and angle.

“Until you stabbed me, I was excellent at”—he held up his right hand, extending a finger for each point—“lying, determining a course of action, and distancing myself from the job at hand.”

“And now?” I raised a brow.

“Now…” He groaned, cursing under his breath. His gaze met mine. “I’m confused and indecisive. I fucking hate it, and it could get us both killed.”

“I’m not sure what you want from me, but I’m not going to apologize.”

“An apology isn’t what I want.” He ground his teeth, his voice a hoarse whisper. “I’ve shielded you from my father for years, but now…I want you, Isabelle. And that could cost you your life. I came to say I lied to my father today, not to you. I couldn’t let you drive away without knowing. You were never a pawn. Not to me.”

ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Elizabeth Lennox – Although she wanted to be a romance novelist since the eighth grade, that dream only became a paid reality for her in 2009 and a full time job in 2012. Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries. All during that time, though, she was always writing, using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories. Noelle Adams – Noelle handwrote her first romance novel in a spiral-bound notebook when she was twelve, and she hasn’t stopped writing since. She has lived in eight different states and currently resides in Virginia, where she reads any book she can get her hands on and offers tribute to a very spoiled cocker spaniel. She loves travel, art, history, and ice cream. After spending far too many years of her life in graduate school, she has decided to reorient her priorities and focus on writing contemporary romances. Find her at noelle-adams.com.
Leslie North – Leslie North is the pen name for a critically-acclaimed author of women’s contemporary romance and fiction. The anonymity gives her the perfect opportunity to paint with her full artistic palette, especially in the romance and erotic fantasy genres. Leslie fell in love with romance when she first picked up a scrappy, dog-eared romance book from her local library. She began writing soon after and the rest, as they say, was history. She now lives in a cozy cottage on the British coast and enjoys taking long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie. Find her at leslienorthbooks.com.
Lizabeth Scott – Who is Lizabeth Scott? A voracious reader and a full-time writer for about 4 months! Liz is a wife and mother of two grown children and the proud grandma of the sweetest little baby ever. She is the personal assistant to a terrier terror named Moxie who she occasionally takes to the drive-through for a burger. Liz is a Carolina girl who loves sand between her toes as frequently as possible. At the prompting of a friend, Liz began living her dream of writing in 2013 and is now the author of several series. Find her at lizscottbooks.com.
Gloria Silk – Gloria Silk writes novels of powerful passion without cultural borders. Born in Russia, Gloria Silk has lived in various parts of Europe and the Mediterranean. She loves to travel. Her background in English literature, writing and psychology help her create well-rounded, unique characters for her stories. She’s also an artist (using watercolors and acrylics) and a designer, and is published in non-fiction under Tanya Freedman. Find her at gloriasilk.com.

Excerpt From The Billionaire’s Babysitter by Leslie North
“Hey,” she said, but he didn’t turn around, “I’m sorry if I upset you, prying. It’s none of my business. I apologize.”
“I’m not nine, Laine,” he said. “So don’t try to be my understanding babysitter.”
“I know you’re not a kid,” she said softly, “I was having a nice time and I feel like I ruined it.”
Wyatt raked a hand through his hair and crossed his arms, closed off to her again. “I’d like to know you better,” she said, and laid her cheek on his back just for a second.
Laine wasn’t one to rub up against men, but the expanse of his strong back, and the closeness they’d shared moments ago over the basil overwhelmed her. She wanted to reach out to him. She wanted him to reach for her, to find comfort in her body and she longed to wrap her arms around him and open her lips for him. She was breathless, almost humid with the vividness of that desire, so when he turned and swept her around, his arm hooking her waist and hauling her up against him, she gasped.
“How much better would you like to know me?” he said, his voice low and rasping. Her fingers curled into his shirt front.
Laine felt lost in his intense hot blue gaze. He touched her cheek and she nestled into his palm. She felt as if every nerve ending was alight with the sizzle of his touch. She tried to answer him, knew somehow in the blur of desire that he had asked her a question and she ought to say something, but she couldn’t look away. She could feel the heat of his breath on her lips, his arms holding her against his hard chest. He tipped her chin up and she parted her lips, ready for him, dying for him to kiss her. She blinked, squinting as the sun came out from behind a cloud and shone right in her eyes so she had to look away from him.
He gave that wicked half grin that made her want to drop her panties. Wyatt turned her so the sun wouldn’t be in her eyes, “I’d rather you be blinded by my charm than the sun, come over here,” he pulled her toward the shadow of the fence and she wrapped both arms around his neck, a smile curving her lips as she reached up for him and his mouth brushed hers.
The loudest screeching sound she’d ever heard shrieked from the spot where they were standing. They broke apart and he swore. “Fucking house arrest.” He muttered, taking a step back into the boundaries of the property, “Might as well put a goddamn shock collar on me like a dog.”
“Wyatt—” she called after him but he was on his way back inside.

The Touch of Snow by international author, Anna Edwards
Selene Harper doesn’t know who she is and for that fact, what she is. If she touches someone, she hears all their intimate thoughts. Not so good when you want to start dating. And definitely not good when you are about to be thrown into the world of shape-shifting bears, wolves and wild cats.

The Touch of Snow is the first book in the new Glacial Blood series. A first paranormal book from the author, Anna Edwards. It tells the story of a voyage of discovery for both Selene and Brayden as they try to understand what fate has in store for them. The Glacial Blood world is full of intrigue, suspense and a family of friends. It also features a secret that should remain untold.
Family isn’t always blood; it’s the people in your life that accept you for what you are.

                                              EXCERPTS:

EXCERPT ONE: In all her life, she had never willingly reached out to touch someone, but she found herself doing it before she could think. She took his hand, and hers was enveloped in his grip. No thoughts entered her head. Her hand began to tingle. Both their gazes shifted to where they were joined, skin to skin. Her hand was changing, fingers turning into a paw, nails into claws. Fur sprouted through the skin in white and smoky gray flecks. The hair was spreading, her arm changing into a... a cat's leg. She jumped back, breaking the connection, her arm cradled to her chest. Slowly the effects of the touch reversed until she returned to normal.
"Selene," Brayden spoke but his words were lost.
All she could do was stare at her hand. "Wh... what are you?" she stuttered.
"You need to let me take you back to my mother's apartment now." He stepped forward, but she jumped back again.
"Don't touch me." Selene snapped frantically and shrunk away covering her body. She was terrified.
He held his hands out in front of him so she could see them. "I won't. You have my word. Let's go down to the car. Mom can help me explain."
"She's like you? No, I've touched her. I heard her thoughts. I didn't start changing into...into what was that?"
"Selene, please, the car." He stepped forward again and tried to wrap his arms around her. She was too quick for him though, kicking out before taking off through the desert as fast as she could. She didn't have a clue where she was going. She just knew she needed to get away. The darkness was closing in. The last thing she wanted was to be stranded in the California desert with no water. A noise came from her left and she froze. From the shadows stalked a big cat. It got close enough that she could distinguish it as a snow leopard. Recognition, shook her. It couldn’t be. Her hand, that was what she had been changing into.
"Brayden?"

EXCERPT TWO:
"You need to move quicker, Selene."
Quicker? What the hell! She was covered in sweat from moving as fast as she could. She ducked a kick that Emma had aimed at her head. It connected with her arm on the way down, causing golden fur to appear before returning to skin. "I'm mostly human remember, not a fucking cat. I don't have freaky abilities like you do."
“If you're part of the pack, then you'll need to fight like us." Brayden was frowning at her supposedly slow movements. He had his arms folded across his chest studying her every move. She jumped back from a fistful of claws that flashed past her face.
"Maybe I should start roaring and rubbing my backside against trees, as well? Show you just how much of a cat I can be."
Emma caught her in the face with the back of her paw, and she tumbled to the ground. Her eyes sparked into a feline's; her vision changing.
"Shit!" At the last minute, she rolled as a newly shifted Emma leaped for her.
Brayden snickered. She wanted more than anything to forget about the powerful lioness and smack him in the face instead. "When I'm done here you're going to owe me!" she growled.
"How do you figure that?"
"Because I'm going to win."
This time he bellowed out his laughter. "If that happens, then I'll be your slave for a month."
"Deal."
She watched as he stood up and shifted into his natural form. She'd once feared him as a snow leopard, but over the last month, she'd begun to find it the most fascinating thing in the world. She'd find herself spending hours just watching him move around. Brayden's distraction allowed Emma to get the better of her and she was pinned to the floor. She hated these lessons.

EXCERPT THREE:

"If I could tickle you right now I would." Brayden froze the second the words had left his mouth.
"I wish you could."
Selene had never wanted someone to touch her as much as she wished he could. He lifted his hand to her face and then stopped.
“Touch me.” She pleaded.
She shut her eyes and an image of them writhing naked together flashed into her brain.
"I should go help Emma if we want to eat tonight. I'll send Scott back." When she opened her eyes, Brayden was already on the other side of the fire, his t-shirt over his head. He went for the button on his jeans but stopped and looked back at her. She couldn't take her eyes off him.
"Please." She sounded so tiny when she spoke.
"Selene." Brayden couldn’t take his eyes off her chocolate orbs glistening with unshed tears. Selene’s eyes lowered down his body to his jean clad groin. His breath faltered and his cock hardened. She wanted to see him naked, not for shifting purposes but for the man that he was.
"Please." She was pleading.
He undid the buttons and lowered the jeans down his marble thighs; his magnificent cock sprung hard from his jeans. The tip was glistening in the moonlight with pre-cum. He was hard for her. He wrapped his hand around his length and started to stroke it. She followed unblinkingly. He was getting faster and faster. His breath hitched every time his hand slid over the end. She couldn't take her eyes off him. She bit her lip.
"Stop me." His voice was strained; he was doing the pleading this time.
"No. I want this." she replied honestly.
He threw his head back and let out a long moan as he came. His essence was squirting into his other hand. It was the single most heavenly sight she'd ever seen.

AUTHOR BIO (WITH LINKS):
Ok, this is the bit where I have to sell myself. Why is it so much easier to write about sexy blokes! Anyway… I am a British author, from the depths of the rural countryside near London. In a previous life, I was an Accountant from the age of twenty-one. I still do that on occasions but most of my life is now spent intermingling writing while looking after my husband, two children and two cats (probably in the inverse order to the one listed!). When I have some spare time, I can also be found writing poetry, baking cakes (and eating them), or behind a camera snapping like a mad paparazzi.

In 2015 I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. It was also around this time that I became one of the founding members of a dramatic/erotic/dark roleplaying group on Twitter. It was wildly popular with both English and American followers. The writing helped me to overcome my depression by giving me an outlet to channel my thoughts into and not sit around worrying all day about things that would never happen. I took over responsibility for management of the group and responsibility for development of our storylines. As well as playing at least ten different characters in the group ranging from an innocent virgin, blood thirsty assassin and even a male lover. The success of the role-play spurred me on to writing novels.

I have a love of travelling and like to bring this to my stories to give them the air of reality. Death Valley is somewhere I visited in 2008 after a tragic personal event. It was part of a tour of the west coast of America that I loved a great deal. The highlight of the trip was a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon.
I have always been an avid reader. Mainly murder mystery in the past but with Beautiful Bastard I discovered a whole new set of novels and I haven’t looked back since. I like my hero’s hot and hunky with a dirty mouth. My heroines demur but with spunk. And my books in a kickarse series.
