Straight into the story we meet Oksana and Mika.  Oksana is the feisty daughter of a Russian mafia king. Mika is a Bratva man but not of the highest order and was not chosen as a match for Oksana by her father, therefore deeming him unsuitable. However, the connection Mika and Oksana have is too strong to deny.

I really liked this story. The characters of Oksana and Mika are very believable and their relationship is great - dynamic, sexy, loving and tumultuous!

It is a very sexy read with some Bratva issues woven into the story which allow it to read like a light thriller and not just a romance.

This is book 7 of a series and characters from previous books and other series have been interwoven in this story. It is not necessary to read from the beginning to pick up the story line at all, but I look forward to reading the previous books and other series by Hayley.
