Anyone who has read a Natalie Bennet book knows her stories tend to get a little dark that being said do not read Savages if you are not a fan of dark reads because this book is a dark read. However, if you love a good read feel free to give this one a go.
Cali was raise in a cult growing up she didn't have the easitest life her father allowed people to use her and when she got out of line would knock her right back into place. One day a tragic event changed Cali's life cast out from her fathers lands, and left for dead. Cali some how survies but she is dead on the inside nothing can make her feel alive until she meets him Romero.
Romero is the stuff monsters are made of ruthless, mean, cold heart, and dead on the inside too until he meets Cali the girl whos eyes mirror his own, the girl who stand up to him and make him question everything he thought he knew about the helpless girl he found running alone through the woods.
Cali and Romero lust for each other is insta and there are some lines in here that im even like wait let me read that again. Overall its a good story with each of them suffering at the hands of David (Cali's Dad). Its a must read if you love dark reads.
