This novel is the second in the Billionaire Dynasties, but this is a standalone and there is no need to read the first to enjoy this one. The main characters do make an appearance in this novel late in it but you do not need a background in the to understand anything.
Aiden Kelley is a CEO billionaire who likes to be in control and have this on a tight schedule. That is until everything is throw up in the air with the discovery that he has a ten year old daughter. He learns quickly that he is going to have to make some changes in order to be a father to his daughter. Thankfully he has a personal assistant who has agreed to help him out. Chelsea Houston has kept everything running smoothly for Aiden for years. She is devoted, determined and has the worse kind of crush on her boss. Throw the two of these people, a ten year old and a road trip to the Grand Canyon and it leaves you with a great boss to lover story. Even after things look grim for these two you couldn't help but hope they would find their way back. And the grand gesture of love is the sweetest.
This is a great light story. I enjoyed Aiden and Chelsea's journey to each other. You will not only fall in love with them but Waverly as well. She is the perfect young character that adds to the story.
